Ella will be performing scenes from Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen and Massenet’s Cendrillon.

The shadow of death permeates each scene, either directly, or through its ever-present threat.  The performance will include well-known scenes from Janacek’s Cunning Little Vixen, Puccini’s La bohème, Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro as well as excerpts from such lesser-known operas as Gounod’s Sapho and Viktor Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von Atlantis.
